I love to sleep. I like little power naps. I like longer cat naps. I like waking up before the alarm and falling back to sleep.
I absolutely love the feeling of laying down and stretching out in bed at night. That great big “AAAAHHHHHHHH!” feeling that you get when your head snuggles down in the pillow just right. Pull the down comforter up and snuzzle in.
The Queen is so very blessed to have a warm, safe, wonderful bed in which to sleep every night with the Pirate Redbeard. It makes me even happier to know that Buttercup sleeps soundly every night in her own bed. To prove just how lucky we are; we even have an extra bed just in case someone comes to visit.
Rule #46- If you have a warm, safe place to sleep every night…. be grateful!

I love this! I have actually been thinking about it alot lately. Not only am I grateful for my warm safe bed but I am thankful for the ability to sleep the way I do! I have several friends who have sleep issues…so even though it sounds funny, I thank God all the time for making me a such an awesome deep sleeper :0)

I’ve spent restful nights on the ground, under a tarp to keep off the cold rain. So, some of it is attitude. That was before I had kids.
Now, as you’ve noticed with B’cup, knowing the clan is safe goes a long way toward making for a peaceful sleep. Oh, and knowing that the well heat is on.

Thank you, Ma’am, I was military, but not the sleep-on-the-ground type. I was thinking of high mountain camping trips. Didn’t mean to sound dramatic. 🙂

I figured it was time for a change!
Yeah, nothing better than a nice bed with thick warm blankets to wrap up in when the winter chill hits.
I slept on the ground in all kinds of terrain when I was in the Army, and thought nothing of it. I could sleep anywhere, on any surface, in most any weather. Nowadays, I’ve become a wimp. I like my nice comfortable king mattress too much to sleep anywhere else. Went camping recently with my son, and he had a blast, but I spent the night in the tent in my sleeping bag dreaming of my bed back at home.

A bed is definitely where I am meant to sleep…. I admit to being rather high maintenance. I AM a Queen after all!
Know just what you mean about that beg AAAAAHHHH when I finally get to bed! It is the most wonderful feeling, especially knowing that Rat Boy is snuggled down in his room. 🙂
Hubby works nights, so often I have all the luxury to myself (and use the entire bed), but when he’s there, I have a heated blanket! So I can enjoy both ways. 😛
Enjoy it any way you can get it!
Best part about laying in bed is the feel of your back stretching after the day.
